After creating an objective and its key results, you can add contributors to your key results. These contributors will help you achieve the target.
There are two ways to add a contributor:
Step 1: Create an objective and add a key result to it.
Step 2: Click on the attribute icon, and a right drawer will open. Fill in all the necessary details and click on the ‘+’ icon under Contributor(s).

Step 3: Once you click on the ‘+’ icon, assign contributor page will open. If the OKR is a team OKR, you will find your team listed, and your name will be selected as a contributor by default.
If it is an individual OKR, your name will be selected as a contributor by default.
Step 4: In the case of a team OKR, you may select team members to who you want to assign the target. Using the search bar, you may add external contributors too. Similarly, in individual OKRs, you may add other contributors using the search bar.
Once the contributors are added, click on Next.
Step 5: You will be redirected to the ‘Assign Target’ page. The start and target values in the attribute page will be added to the owner’s bucket by default.
As an owner, you must manually add start and target values for the contributors.
As an owner, your target can be zero. All the contributors, however, must have a target to accomplish.
Step 6: Once you have assigned a target to the contributors, click on save.
Suppose your target value set in the attribute page is not fully divided among yourself, and the contributors added. In that case, you will get a pop-up alert requesting you to either divide the pending target among existing users or add it to your bucket.
Step 7: Click “Yes” if you wish to divide the target contributors.
Click on “No” if you want to take up the pending target.
Step 8: Click on Save to assign the target to your contributors.
After adding the key results:
Step 1: After the OKR is submitted, all key results will be visible on the expansion of the objective. Click on the ‘+’ icon to add contributors to your key result and assign a target to them.
Follow the same process to assign targets to contributors.
